FIXED TILT LEGS are a simple and efficient solution for installing solar racking on flat or low-slope roofs. Tilt leg configurations are available in 5° and 10° tilt angles, as well as an elevated 5° option for added design flexibility. The system consists of only three basic components, allowing for a fast, straightforward, and installer-friendly installation process. The Fixed Tilt Legs are designed for compatibility with SM ASCENDER® and FLASHLOC® CONCRETE ANCHOR. They are also engineered to withstand high wind loads and help preserve long-term roof integrity, ensuring reliable performance on every project.

Install concrete anchors
Drill holes per the anchor/epoxy manufacturer’s specifications, then install anchors and all-thread to the proper depth according to manufacturer recommendations, allowing for the tilt leg thickness and serrated flange nut.
Install Tilt Legs
Align the hole on the tilt leg with the protruding all-thread, secure with a 3/8″ serrated flange nut, and tighten to the torque value specified by the anchor manufacturer.
Repeat for all Tilt Legs
Install rail on Tilt Legs
Utilize typical SM ASCENDER
3/8″ t-bolt and serrated flange nut to fasten SM ASCENDER rail to short and tall tilt legs.
